Maximum safety
Steering comes first with our priority valves, for maximum safety on the road and on the job.
A Danfoss priority valve will always give your steering system precedence. That makes it an important safety feature on load-sensing hydraulic systems. There oil flow to the steering system and work hydraulics is supplied by just one pump.
Features and benefits
-
Low pressure drop for high fuel efficiency, low noise and stable operation
-
Available in static and dynamic versions
-
Dynamic flow gives a quick reaction time with no hard spot when initiating steering
-
Optional pilot pressure relief valve for OLS 160 and OLS 320
OLS priority valve options
OLS 320
High-flow priority valve OLS 320
High-flow priority valves are needed especially for large tractors, wheel loaders, motor graders and container trucks.
The new Danfoss priority valve OLS 320 can fulfill demands from these applications. The priority valve OLS 320 is to be used in connection with Danfoss steering units. For example, type OSPC LS, OSPF LS, OSPD LS, OSPQ LS and OSPL LS in load sensing steering system with pump flow up to 320 l/min.
OLS 320 priority valve is available as in-line and flange-on versions for EHPS.
Pressure drop P-EF is very low, less than 6 bar at 320 l/min at EF load higher than spring force.
Features
- High flow capacity
- Low pressure drop
- Compact modular design
- With or without built-in pilot pressure
relief valve - Optional port connections
- Available for both static and dynamic systems

OLS 160
The OLS 160 “in-line” priority valves are used in load sensing steering systems together with OSP-variant
LS static and LS dynamic steering units.
The program for OLS 160 covers:
- For max pump flow 160 l/min
- With or without integrated pilot relief valve
- With internal or external PP

OLS 120
The OLS 120 "in-line" priority valves are used in load sensing steering systems together with OSP-variant
LS static and LS dynamic steering units.
The program of OLS 120 covers:
- For max pump flow 120 l/min
- With internal PP

OLSP 80
The priority valve OLSP 80 is to be used in connection with e.g. Danfoss gear pumps type SNP. As well as, steering units type OSPC LS, OSPF LS, OSPD LS and OSPQ LS in load sensing steering systems. There maximum oil flow doesn’t exceed 80 l/min. OLSP priority valves are to be flanged on gear pumps with outlet ports square flange type 35. Versions Load sensing static priority valves Load sensing static steering units require load sensing static priority valves. Load sensing static steering systems have no oil flow in the LS connection. This is when the steering unit is in neutral position. Load sensing dynamic priority valves Load sensing dynamic steering units require load sensing dynamic priority valves. Load sensing dynamic steering systems have a constant oil flow in the LS connection from the priority valve to the steering unit. Even when the steering unit is in neutral position.
Features
- For flanging on pumps directly
- Simplified installation
- Compact design
- Low pressure drop
- Optional port connections
- Available for both static and dynamic systems

OLSi 80
- High performance and wide flow range
- OLSi gives 37% space savings compared to OLS
- Best-in-class integration even in tight areas due to compact design and easy connectivity

OLSA 40/80
The OLSA 40 and OLSA 80 "flange on" priority valves are used in load sensing steering systems, built onto OPSC LS (OLSA) and OSPD LS (OLSA) steering units.
The program of OLSA covers:
- For max pump flow 40 and 80 l/min
- For LS static and LS dynamic steering units
