Christian Tietz is your contact for data center and HVACR applications with iC7-HVACR and supports you in improving energy efficiency and system performance while ensuring reliable operation in critical environments.
“For data centers and HVACR systems, drive performance must support both energy targets and the continuous availability of critical cooling processes.”

Michael Burghardt is your contact for the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and cybersecurity in new and existing drive systems. He supports you in assessing your current situation and identifying practical steps to improve cybersecurity.
“Whether you are operating an existing system or planning a new project, cybersecurity and the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) start with understanding your current situation. In many cases, meaningful improvements are easier to achieve than you might think.”
Future-ready automation

Vanessa Honekamp is your contact for iC7-Automation and supports you in transitioning existing systems step by step to a standardized, future-ready iC7 platform and simplifying modernization decisions.
“A successful transition starts with a clear view of the installed base and a roadmap that allows each modernization step to deliver value.”

Ralf Niedermowwe is your contact for VLT® FlexMotion™ and motion applications and supports you in selecting and applying scalable servo solutions that simplify engineering, enable precise motion control, and meet application-specific requirements.
“A scalable motion platform gives machine builders the flexibility to create more variants, integrate functional safety, and adapt machines to changing requirements without redesigning the entire automation concept.”
Data-driven performance

Virgil Lupu is your contact for condition-based monitoring and supports you in turning drive data into actionable insights, identifying issues earlier, and improving maintenance decisions.
“The real value of condition-based monitoring is not more data, but giving maintenance teams the right information early enough to act.”

Ralf Andersen is your contact for Digital and Lifecycle Services and supports you in creating transparency across your installed base, planning modernization effectively, and protecting performance throughout the life cycle with DrivePro® Services.
“Installed-base transparency helps prioritize where to maintain, retrofit, or modernize—turning life cycle planning into clear investment decisions.”
Our solutions and applications

ITALY: Ave Technologies, part of the Omnia Technologies Group of companies and an Italian OEM in the food and beverage sector, faced a significant challenge due to a mechanical linkage between its filling and capping machines for vinegar production. This linkage meant that synchronization after format changes was a long and complex process for operators. To tackle this challenge, the Ave Technologies automation team, consisting of software and automation engineering specialists, introduced an electronic solution to replace the mechanical linkage. The new iC7-Automation-based electronic system is flexible, maintains high performance and drastically simplifies the changeover between different production format types.

ITALY: As one of the leading manufacturers of aluminum extrusion presses in the world, Italian-based Presezzi Extrusion S.p.A. designs and builds solutions for high-throughput production environments. Every part of the process must run with precision, stability, and speed to meet demanding production targets. In this project they delivered precise low-speed torque and dynamic performance to a German extrusion line upgrade.

ITALY: Thanks to new refrigeration techniques, today it is possible to make quality apples available to consumers all over the world. Regardless of the season, the apples maintain their freshness almost all year round. The Rivoira Group is dedicated to fruit production and trade. It is among the leading operators in this sector, excelling in production, storage, and processing of apples. At its Verzuolo site, there are more than 70 cold storage rooms, which allows Rivoira to store up to 70,000 tons of product every year. The numerous storage systems were all built by Gaudino Refrigerazione, a leading OEM in the industrial refrigeration sector and a pioneer of ammonia-based solutions (R717).

SWITZERLAND: We take it for granted that sufficient drinking water is available at all times. Constantly vigilant, local water suppliers meet this expectation by providing drinking water of the highest quality on a continuous basis. In the canton of Bern, the water association Region Bern AG (WVRB) supplies a community of more than 250,000 inhabitants with 20.9 million cubic meters of drinking water per year. The sophisticated drinking water treatment plant and distribution system consists of water pumping stations, collection basins, connecting lines and a storage reservoir.

BELGIUM: A look at the world's top ten chemical giants reveals a surprising name. While Mitsubishi may be known to the general public for its cars and heat pumps, the Japanese group is also renowned in the chemical industry. From its Tielt facility (Belgium), Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials (MCAM) produces high-performance plastics through extrusion. However, extrusion is a highly specific process that must run continuously, making downtime unacceptable. ATS assisted in developing a new electrical standard for retrofits, proved its capabilities by retrofitting several extrusion lines, and resolved a drive issue in record time by introducing the Danfoss iC7-Automation VFD.
