Introducing the new Airflex® ACB-F3 Failsafe Caliper Brake. Designed for holding and emergency stopping applications in heavy-duty equipment across mining, oil & gas, marine, and metals industries. The ACB-F3 enhances safety, reliability, and reduces downtime. Simple to install and maintain, with options for organic/sintered friction pads and anti-corrosion protection.

Ideal for: Oil & Gas (drilling drawworks, oil rig cranes), Marine (deck machinery), Mining (conveyors, grinding mills, hoists).

The Airflex ACB-F3 is a spring-applied, hydraulically released brake for park-and-hold and emergency stop applications. Its robust, compact design provides reliable, stable braking torque, and its symmetrical opposed piston caliper is well-suited for high-torque, high-energy stopping. With approximately 50% longer friction pad life, the ACB-F3 ensures safe, stable torque over an extended duration.
