Design more freely with extended unscreened motor cable length

Now, you can enjoy more freedom in engineering design, because the VLT® All-mode Filter MCC 201 enables you to design with less constraint on motor cable length. Due to improvements in conducted and radiated emissions, the application can maintain the rated EMC class of the drive for unscreened cables up to 1000 m long.

The filter improves motor supply quality by filtering phase-phase and phase-ground to a sinusoidal-shaped supply. This improved motor supply provides good motor protection by eliminating motor bearing currents and motor insulation stress. Ultimately, these benefits extend motor service life.

Minimal engineering effort is required to install the filter with the drives, since VLT® drives are designed to operate the VLT® All-mode Filter MCC 201 using an automated feature, which will enable matching operating conditions.
