Tailored for Your Role

Welcome to your essential first step in understanding Danfoss frequency converters! This online primer is designed to bring you to a common baseline, familiarizing you with Danfoss Drives products and their diverse application types in electrification and hybridization. By completing this self-study before our F2F training, you'll maximize your time with our trainers and accelerate your path to expertise. It's about ensuring an efficient and highly productive learning experience right from the start.
This e-learning is also recommended as a refresher course after a face-to face training. You will find a full playlist with selected useful trainings for iC7-Marine and iC7 Hybrid.

Marks the true beginning of your journey into advanced drive system applications. This training is your "license to learn," providing the comprehensive knowledge needed for a deeper understanding of drive systems. You'll gain crucial insights into drive selection criteria, learning the how and why behind specific configurations. To effectively design, specify, and sell a drive system, you need to understand how each interface influences the mechanical and electrical design of the frequency converter panel. Such as: Power distribution, transformers, asynchronous motors, permanent magnet motors, and battery systems. This training includes how our Danfoss products fit into configurations such as standalone AFE/INU drive systems, DC-grids, and hybrid designs from both a hardware and software perspective.

Editron Training
These trainings are designed for professionals working with Editron systems who are looking to strengthen their technical capabilities and practical know-how. There are two different levels where participants will gain a deeper understanding of Editron’s hardware, software, system possibilities and even commissioning and troubleshooting.
Whether you're new to Editron or looking to build on existing knowledge, these trainings provide a comprehensive and application-driven approach to mastering Editron technologies.

This training is intended for professionals seeking to expand their expertise in Danfoss Editron’s products. It covers the full range of Editron hardware: motors and converters and their possible options. In addition, there will be practical topics such as motor inverter commissioning and troubleshooting (basics).

- Trouble shooting and commissioning introduction

This training is designed for professionals and structured to deepen your technical understanding of Editron hardware, software and their various applications. While it includes a comprehensive overview of the components, the primary emphasis is on real-world application scenarios and system-level design using Editron converters.
Participation in the Introduction training to Editron products training is recommended for foundational context but not required. This training will cover all relevant topics in detail.

Will I receive a certificate upon completion of the training?
Yes. For all our trainings, we offer a certificate recognizing your achievement. If you have any further questions or need additional details about the certificate process, please do not hesitate to contact our support team.
How do I get there?
We recommend using the airport Oslo Airport Gardermoen. To travel to Holmestrand, please take the train from Gardermoen to Holmestrand station (1 hour and 25 minutes). From here, you can take a taxi from the station to Bentsrudveien 17, 3083 Holmestrand (7 minutes).

We recommend staying at Quality Hotel Tønsberg (Tönsberg), located at Ollebukta 3, 3126 Tønsberg. The hotel is located approximately 30 minutes by car from the Marine Competence Center. When booking, please use Danfoss as a reference to get the Danfoss rate.
