We are proud to announce that Danfoss has been awarded the Platinum Medal in the 2026 EcoVadis sustainability assessment, one of the world’s leading sustainability rating providers. With a score of 88 out of 100, Danfoss is in the top one percent of more than 130,000 companies assessed worldwide.
Sustainability drives competitiveness
With sustainability at the core of our business and embedded in our LEAP 2030 strategy, we drive competitiveness for Danfoss and our customers. Our innovative, competitive, and sustainable solutions are engineered to do more with less, thereby saving energy and costs, and reducing emissions.
We have achieved the EcoVadis Platinum rating for our overall progress and performance in the areas of environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement over the past years.
This recognition reflects the progress Danfoss has made within sustainability as a result of the dedication and hard work of our global teams. Achieving this recognition together with strong financial results in the first half of 2026 demonstrates that sustainability, competitiveness, and resilience go hand in hand. It also provides our customers with assurance that Danfoss is a responsible and reliable partner, helping them advance their own sustainability objectives. Looking ahead, we will continue to drive improvements across our sustainability agenda through the execution of our LEAP 2030 strategy.
Sustainability leadership
Since our 2019 base year, we have reduced our own emissions (scope 1 and 2) by 54% and we continue to increase the share of renewable electricity used across Danfoss, now at 75%. Last year, we achieved our 2030 SBTi-approved target five years ahead of plan and have since reaffirmed our climate ambitions with updated SBTI-approved targets covering both the near and long-term.
In 2026, we also published our updated Climate Transition Plan outlining how we are driving competitive decarbonization and advancing on our targets to decarbonize Danfoss by 2030 and achieve net-zero across the value chain by 2050.
