Supplier requirements
Danfoss requires all suppliers and contractors to comply with our strict standards to protect human health and the environment.
We adhere to global product safety regulations, ensuring our processes meet or exceed market and legal requirements.
Danfoss Suppliers are expected to meet high standards in compliance, quality, and sustainability. Together, we build strong partnerships for a better future.
Sustainability
We turn words into action. It is in our DNA. We want to put ourselves and our customers in the perfect position to drive a green transition.
Green ASK program
The Danfoss Green Ask Program is our initiative to engage and collaborate with suppliers to reduce CO2 emissions and enhance sustainability practices.
Through the program, we work with suppliers to provide transparent, verifiable data on their carbon footprint (Scope 1, 2, and 3), set Co2 reduction targets, and explore green levers such as using recycled materials, green energy, and improving energy efficiency. This collaboration is essential as the biggest part of our carbon footprint comes from our supply chain.
Quality
We expect our suppliers to uphold world-class standards in their quality systems to ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and move towards a Zero defect mindset.
Our Supplier Quality Manual describes our requirements of product approvals, non-conformities and regulatory and statutory.
