The ESBE CRA Series of setpoint controls includes a combined motorized actuator and constant flow temperature control with an adjustable temperature setting.

The easy to use CRA series includes an LCD backlit digital display and is available in two varieties; 

  • CRA112 - for use with ESBE valves up to 2"
  • CRA122 - for use with all sizes of ESBE valves.

CRA112 Setpoint Control

The ESBE CRA112 is a combined motorized actuator and constant flow temperature control with an adjustable setting operation range. Ideal for applications that require constant monitoring or regulation of temperature such as domestic hot water, slab radiant heating, or return water temperature protection. Depending on the placement of the sensor and the piping of the CRA112 assembly, it will be regulating the temperature by either mixing or diverting. The compact CRA112 control mounts directly to an ESBE VRG valve body (½” to 2” only). The CRA112 can also be mounted to ESBE’s discontinued MG and G series valves up to 2” size.

CRA122 Setpoint Control

The ESBE CRA122 is a combined motorized actuator and constant flow temperature control with an adjustable temperature setting. This control is a direct replacement for the 92K2 control. The CRA122 monitors and maintains the setpoint of water or air temperature on mixing or diverting applications by modulating ESBE 3-way or 4-way valves in the recommended sizes ranging from 2-1/2” to 6”. The CRA122 setpoint control can also be used with smaller sized VRG valve bodies with the use of the VRG to 90 Series mounting kit code no. 193B1616.

The 90 Series motorized actuator provides additional torque compared to the ARA series, and can be installed on all ESBE 3 & 4-way rotary valves, in sizes from ½” to 6”. 90 Series linkage kits are also available capable of adapting the motorized actuator to Viessmann, Honeywell, Centra DR/ZR, Landis & Staefa and TA VTR styles of valves.
