For example, water mist is essential to the sawmill industry. In addition to saw blade lubrication and dust suppression, it helps ensure the controlled and uniform temperatures and humidity levels within wood kilns that are key to optimal drying, thereby mitigating the risks of quality defects like checking, warping and cracking.

Water mist systems are a versatile, cost-effective, and environmentally responsible choice that offer several advantages compared to alternative solutions. They are relatively simple to install and maintain in new or existing applications.

They use far less water – and create much less water damage – than sprinkler systems. They are non-toxic. And they provide attractive CAPEX and OPEX.
