AXV - automatic expansion valve

AXV is available in two variants:

AXV-H (Hot Gas Bypass) – Maintains compressor suction pressure by injecting controlled hot gas, adapting to evaporator load conditions.
AXV-I (Liquid Expansion) – Regulates evaporation pressure by adjusting refrigerant flow for optimal system performance.

Constant pressure regulator for lower applied costs

AXV is an advanced constant pressure regulator designed for hot gas bypass and liquid expansion applications. With high performance, broad versatility, and easy installation, AXV is the ideal choice for systems such as air driers, water chillers, ice cream machines, and frozen beverage dispensers.

The compact, stainless steel laser-welded design enhances durability, while the bimetal connectors allow for quick and easy brazing without the need for capillary tubes or sensors.

AXV-H – hot gas bypass for stable compressor operation

AXV-H is designed for hot gas bypass applications, ensuring stable compressor suction pressure by injecting hot gas as needed. It helps adapt compressor capacity to the actual evaporator load, making it an ideal solution for air driers and water chillers operating around 0°C evaporating temperature.

With internal pressure equalization, AXV-H automatically opens when pressure drops at the valve outlet, ensuring reliable operation and system efficiency in demanding cooling applications.

AXV-I – liquid expansion for precise evaporation control

AXV-I regulates liquid injection based on evaporation pressure, ensuring optimal refrigerant flow through the evaporator. As evaporation pressure drops, AXV-I opens to maintain system balance and efficiency, making it a perfect fit for ice cream machines and frozen beverage dispensers.

With internal pressure equalization and an adjustable pressure setting, AXV-I provides stable operation and improved cooling performance, helping maintain consistent product quality in refrigeration systems.
