On fishing boats, the winch controls the laying out and hauling in of the fishing net. The tension of the wire must be precisely controlled at each stage of the operation. Often, the winch itself is an integrated part of a crane or other system and is managed in tandem with other functions, such as raising or lowering a crane’s boom arm.
Danfoss PLUS+1® controls take the complexity out of the operation by calculating and coordinating the power needs of each function. Used in combination with our proportional valves and closed circuit axial piston pumps, they deliver power right where it’s needed.
