Reliable dust suppression in the toughest industrial environments
Dust is a common challenge in mining, construction, material handling, and other heavy industries. Excess airborne dust can harm worker health, damage equipment, and reduce visibility. Danfoss water nozzles deliver a fine, controlled mist that captures dust particles and brings them to the ground, improving air quality and safety in harsh working conditions.
How it works
- Atomization – Danfoss nozzles create fine droplets that bind to dust particles in the airfine droplets that bind to dust particles in the air‑fine droplets that bind to dust particles in the air
- Particle Capture – The mist increases the weight of dust particles, causing them to settle quickly
- Targeted Suppression – Nozzles can be positioned at dust generation points for maximum efficiency
Key benefits
- Improved air quality – Reduces airborne dust for a safer, healthier work environment
- Equipment Protection – Minimizes dust ingress into machinery, reducing wear and maintenance costs
- Visibility & Safety – Clearer sightlines improve operational safety
- Durable Performance – Designed to withstand demanding industrial conditions.
Typical applications
- Mining & quarrying – Suppressing dust at crushers, conveyors, and loading points.
- Construction sites – Controlling dust during demolition, excavation, and material handling.
- Bulk material handling – Ports, grain terminals, and cement plants.
- Recycling facilities – Dust suppression in shredding, sorting, and processing areas.

Best practice recommendations
- Position nozzles close to dust generation points for maximum suppression.
- Use filtered water to prevent clogging and maintain spray quality.
- Adjust droplet size to match dust particle size for optimal binding.
- Regularly inspect nozzles to ensure consistent performance.
