Greetings from Norway

Fresh off his journey to Shanghai, Jan hit the road again; only this time, the journey didn't quite so long. Jan trekked north to visit some of our Scandinavian brothers at a salmon farm in Stavanger - where our APP pumps and iSave ERDs help keep the delicious fish fresh and lice-free.

Tune in to Jan’s latest video update for a quick tour of the facility and a stunning view of the Norwegian landscape.

Greetings from Shanghai

Like the ancient Chinese proverb says: “a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step”. And so Jan travelled to Shanghai to visit a ZLD industrial wastewater system and strengthen this relationship through a routine service check and then also found time for a quick partner visit at CIIT for SWRO and ZLD industrial waste water product training.

  • Suez chooses oil-free Danfoss APP pump to power Bahamian RO plant retrofit

For a resort in Bahamas APP pump and iSave ERD were selected to supply fresh water. Both components are well-known for long service intervals, high reliability and energy efficiency. They eliminate risk of oil contamination on the plant site, as they use the pumped medium for lubrication.

  • Seawater
Creating a sustainable future with seawater

Over the past decade, the use of Sea Water Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) for desalination has taken off. With proven efficiency rates up to 92% and energy savings of up to 65% compared to traditional solutions, the opportunities of SWRO technologies deserve further exploration.

  • Gran Canaria Canaragua | Danfoss
Canaragua uses Danfoss pumps and ERDs for ultra-compact RO plant in Gran Canaria

Even though Canaragua has installed dozens of SWRO plants throughout the Canary Islands, the project in Puerto de Mogán was unusual because of the focus on compactness. The municipality needed to expand water production, and the best place to locate the new plant was in the middle of the historic town right off the main square.

  • Sarlux refinery saves energy with 12000 m3/day industrial desalination plant
Sarlux refinery saves energy with 12000 m3/day industrial desalination plant

Danfoss solutions enabled Acciona to create an innovative sea water reverse osmosis (SWRO) modular desalination plant for the Sarlux refinery in Sardinia, reducing energy consumption compared to traditional solutions.

Get more with less by retrofitting reciprocal pumps with Danfoss APP pumps

Simplified maintenance, high energy cost savings and low TCO are keeping fresh water flowing 24/7 - those are the advantages a luxury resort in Cabo San Lucas has achieved by retrofitting a reciprocating pump with the Danfoss APP pump.
