The production of precision discs forms the foundation of the entire nozzle production process. Every downstream operation depends on the accuracy, consistency, and stability established at this stage. With this machine upgrade, performance has been significantly enhanced, delivering measurable improvements. Machine availability has increased from approximately 74% to over 95%, enabling a much higher share of planned production time. At the same time, total downtime has been substantially reduced, and recovery times have improved considerably, contributing to more stable and predictable operations.
The upgraded system is based on high-precision rotary transfer technology designed for demanding, high-volume manufacturing environments. By performing multiple machining operations simultaneously across 24 stations in a single clamping, the system achieves high throughput combined with tight repeatability at micron-level precision. This ensures consistent output at scale, supporting the stringent requirements of burner nozzle production.
