Heating of residential properties is by far the biggest source of greenhouse gas emissions from the built environment. Almost 40% of the carbon footprint of the entire built property portfolio stems from the use of district heating. Fluctuating indoor temperatures and humidity problems often cause poor living conditions and can even be detrimental to the health of residents.
