Danfoss Plate Heat Exchangers is pleased to announce the sale of SONDEX B.V., based in Purmerend in the Netherlands, to heat exchanger experts Theo Thoen and Hans Ter Velde.
Theo Thoen and Hans Ter Velde will continue the sales and assembly site under the new name, SD Heat Exchangers B.V., taking ownership of all assets previously held by SONDEX B.V., including customer relationships and our premises in Purmerend, the Netherlands.
This sale is part of our strategic initiative to strengthen our distribution network in the Benelux region. With Theo and Hans at the helm, the business is in exceptionally capable hands. We have collaborated with them for many years and have great confidence in their deep industry expertise and understanding of the local market. This transition is fully aligned with our commitment to enhancing local presence and delivering seamless service to customers in the region.
Hans Ter Velde, co-founder of SD Heat Exchangers B.V., shared his vision for the new company:
