Danfoss at Euromed Congress 2024
Danfoss is pleased to be a gold sponsor at this year’s Euromed Desalination for Clean Water and Energy congress, taking place in Sharm El Sheikh from May 6-9, 2024.

They’ll also explain how desalination systems using our high-pressure pumps, drives and energy-recovery devices (ERDs) can achieve significant energy savings when compared to desalination plants with other pump and energy recovery technologies.
Spotlighting the power of modularity
SWRO plant operators interested in reducing power consumption and energy costs can learn more about the benefits of parallel-coupled pump trains at the Danfoss booth. By parallel coupling positive displacement pumps, energy recovery devices and AC drives, plant operators can ensure increased uptime, uninterrupted operations and a simple, energy efficient flow control.
ERDs for medium to large SWRO applications

Award nomination for the new APP Ceramic pump
Danfoss is honored that the all-new APP pump with ceramic has been nominated for the Miriam Balaban Award. The award honors innovative solutions in the field of desalination, sustainable energy and circular economy processes. The winner will be announced at the conference’s closing ceremony on May 9.
Green hydrogen on the agenda
While the Euromed conference officially begins on Tuesday, May 7, on May 6 there will be a special event with the theme, Desalination for the Green Hydrogen Economy. Green hydrogen is a promising and rapidly developing field of renewable energy. High-pressure pumps for ultra-pure water play a critical role in this field, as they enable efficient, reliable production of this burgeoning energy source. Director of Innovation, Georg Herborg Enevoldsen, will be present at the event to speak on the topic, “Pumping up green hydrogen: axial piston pumps’ high efficiency advantage.” His talk will begin at 5:10 pm.
