Introduction of these new housings comes with new sales code numbers.
Please refer to the attached chart on the following page for detailed information on the affected products.

Introduction: New GBC L, 50bar ball valve
Danfoss is now developing a new version of GBC ball valve with design that will be more environmentally friendly. This new version of GBC ball valve will replace the existing GBC 45 bar and GBC E 49 bar from size 1/4in. (6mm) to 1 3/8in. (28mm). The new range will be released in July 2025. Sales and migration will start from August 2025 following the regional plan described in the product note.
Description
This development of the new ball valve range, GBC L 50bar in stainless steel with copper plated connections, will provide you with the same high-quality performance with lighter products, easier, faster and safer to install. The new models can be used with most A1, A2L and A3 refrigerants. For more details about the design please refer to following section. You will benefit from a streamlined range with upgraded performance as a single model will cover use with most of A1, A2L and A3 refrigerants. As a result, the code numbers for models from size 6 to 28 are changed, while the models and code numbers for the sizes above 28 remain the same. Laying length remains the same.
Migration plan
See detailed product details from the table on the following page.
Danfoss is producing ball valve in China and Mexico plants, supplying different regions respectively. The new design is implemented first in the Chinese plant for all markets except Americas, then in the Mexican factory from Q4 2026 for the American markets.

Release: Large CO₂ Ejector
As a part of our ongoing commitment to providing innovative CO₂ solutions, we are pleased to announce that the Large CO₂ Ejector (LCE) has been released and is now open for sales. We are excited to bring this new technology to you and are confident that the large CO₂ ejector will deliver significant value to your business.
Solution overview
This solution, consisting of the LCE and the EKE 80 controller, is engineered to reduce energy costs while optimizing overall system performance, particularly in warmer climates. CO₂ systems equipped with large CO₂ ejectors benefit from lower energy consumption. The ejector can be utilized with racks that feature both high-pressure (HP) and low-pressure (LP) lift systems.

Key features & benefits
- Improved COP and enhanced system operation, with reduced compressor swept volume, resulting in lower energy consumption
- Fixed geometry enhances efficiency by optimizing flow dynamics and minimizing energy losses
- The combination of large CO₂ ejector and EKE 80 ejector controller ensures easy setup and commissioning, and optimizes ejector operation to achieve maximum system performance
- Reliable and robust design
- Fully integrated solution requiring no additional components such as check valves or filters
- Fully serviceable, with a complete spare parts program (cartridge, filter, O-rings)
- Easily accessible strainer/filter for fast maintenance
- Housing and cartridge delivered separately
The Industrial Application section of CoolSelector will be updated with the Large CO₂ Ejector at the end of Q2 2026. In the meantime, if you have an urgent need to select valves for a customer's project, please do not hesitate to reach out to local Danfoss sales organization.
Ordering & spare parts
Please refer to the attached document for a complete list of LCE housings, cartridges, spare parts, and accessories.

ICMTS 20 - Material change & New Combi connectors
The new combi connectors are a widely recognized type in the food retail market, and to better meet customer requirements, ICMTS will adopt these connectors. In conjunction with this change, the housing and top nut material will be upgraded to forged steel. The housing will also feature a redesigned structure to align with forging technology and simplify manufacturing. The top nut’s geometry will remain the same.
ICMTS 20 Housing Changes
- The housing material will be upgraded from non-alloy steel P265GH (1.0425) to forged steel P285QH in accordance with EN 10222-4
- External dimensions will be adjusted to suit forging technology (refer to before/after comparison below)
- The new forged housing will incorporate combi welding connections, combining a DIN 25 butt weld with a 1 1/8" SA brazing connection
- The current housing design features only DIN 25 butt weld connections
Top Nut change
- The top nut material will be changed from S355J2G4 (1.0577, EN 10025) to forged steel P285QH in accordance with EN 10222-4, matching the housing material
- Design and dimensions remain unchanged

The code numbers for the housing will remain unchanged with this modification, while the description will be updated to reflect the new combi connections.
The change will be implemented gradually, with the first code numbers updated in March, and full implementation expected by June 2026.
