Taking H1 Motors to even more applications
Danfoss is pleased to offer a variety of add-on valves for our family of H1B bent-axis motors, expanding the motor’s application to open-circuit systems.
Our CBVs (counterbalance valves) enhance system performance by improving system efficiency, and features reduced pressure drop, integrated pressure relief valves, simplifying system integration and reducing time-to-market. Choose DN25A for 80 and 110cc H1B, DN32A for the 160cc, or DN32B for 210 and 250cc.
The new FHPRV (full-flow high pressure relief valve) is a bolt-on valve that provides overpressure protection in high-power applications.

Counterbalance Valves:
- H1B + CBV: aligned designs and proven technology to generate the perfect match – with quick and easy installation
- Longer spool stroke, resulting in higher performance and smoother reaction

FHPRV:
- Provides high-flow pressure relief at the motor - critical for motor protection in demanding applications
- Prevents damage to the motor and pump during extended overpressure situations
- Full-flow relief functionality without a significant increase in motor size or circuit complexity
- Can be used in either closed-circuit or open-circuit applications
Our valves are ideal for a wide variety of systems:
- Wheeled and crawler excavators
- Crawler and truck cranes
- Drilling and pipe-handling applications
- Rotating attachments (e.g. rotary tiller)
