Hydraulic motor pumps

Our standard and custom hydraulic power units are driven by Vickers by Danfoss motor pumps, the workhorses of the industry. These motor pumps are also available standalone, allowing OEM customers and system integrators to build custom hydraulic systems. Depending on region, they are available with various pump types, motor types, integration levels, and low-noise options.

Standard Vickers by Danfoss motor-pumps are available with a wide range of motor options, pump options, integration levels, and mounting styles to fit the needs of most OEMs and system integrators. Having a pre-assembled plug-and-play unit from a single vendor also helps save supply chain, engineering, and installation costs.

Vickers by Danfoss Variable Speed Drives (VSDs) offer significant advantages over conventional constant-speed drive pump systems, including reduced energy consumption (up to 70% depending on the duty cycle), noise pollution, and heat generation. These VSDs achieve power-on-demand more efficiently by matching the motor and pump speed to the load requirements, eliminating energy waste and enabling the downsizing of pumps and motors. This leads to lower operating costs, a smaller machine footprint, and extended component life, ultimately improving the total cost of ownership.

These motor pumps combine an oil-cooled asynchronous induction motor with power up to 92 kW [125 hp] with a vane pump or variable-displacement piston-type pump in the sound enclosure. The lack of dynamic seals eliminates the possibility of leaks while the motor and enclosure designs minimize noise by an average of 10 dBA.
