Off-highway machinery in construction sites are required to warn the environment when reversing. Although many reverse warning alarm systems are commonly using a mechanical switch, Danfoss recommends using an electronic switch, type MEP mounted on the hydraulic circuit to activate the alarm.

MEP 2600 and 2650 are designed for use in severe OEM applications and has excellent long term stability with zero drift. MEP 2650 has a single output: switch output, and is available with customized hysteresis and time constant.
