Danfoss Power Solutions’ MultiAxis-Steer™ electrohydraulic steering solution receives innovation award from American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers. 

Danfoss Power Solutions has been awarded with a 2021 AE50 award by the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) for our MultiAxis-Steer™ electrohydraulic steering solution.

About the AE50 awards program

Companies from around the world submit entries to the annual AE50 competition and up to 50 of the best products are chosen by a panel of international engineering experts. The judges select innovative products that will best advance engineering for the food and agriculture industries.

The AE50 awards program emphasizes the role of new products and systems in bringing advanced technology to the marketplace. These engineering developments help farmers, food processors and equipment manufacturers increase efficiency, enhance quality, improve safety and increase profits.

A recent issue included features on the award-winning solutions – such as the Danfoss MultiAxis-Steer™ all-wheel steering technology a (see page 14) and the Fendt IDEALDrive™ Steering System from AGCO (see page 11), which is made up of the Danfoss Flex-Steer™ steer-by-wire technology, which consists of a Steer-by-wire joystick and EHI.

The MultiAxis-Steer™ all-wheel steering sub-system is SIL2 compliant and allows independent control of the front and rear axles in a vehicle steering system.
