Danfoss has officially launched a state-of-the-art water test lab at its Nordborg production site, reinforcing its commitment to innovation and customer-centric solutions. This new facility is designed to simulate real-world operating conditions, enabling precise and repeatable testing of water nozzle configurations for applications such as humidification, dust suppression, and adiabatic cooling.
Since opening in late April 2025, the lab has already supported successful tests for four customers, with additional testing requests already lined up. The facility provides customers with the opportunity to validate nozzle performance under exact specifications—delivering quantitative data on spray angles, droplet consistency, anti-drip behavior, and pressure handling. This empowers customers to make informed decisions based on real-world performance metrics.
Delivering on our customers’ expectations means more than just offering high-quality products—it’s about backing them with real-world data. This lab gives us the ability to validate nozzle performance under exact specifications, which not only boosts product credibility but also enhances customer confidence.
The lab’s development was a result of close cross-functional collaboration. Jørgensen and Product Engineer Satish Ligade led the technical setup, supported by a dedicated team that ensured the lab was operational with precision and purpose.
For me, this project has been a very good and positive experience. I’m convinced our customers will see the great opportunities this lab offers in helping them get the exact nozzles they need for their applications.
