It is people and high performing teams that create results and therefore this is the foundation of Danfoss and our strategy. As we continue to focus on fostering high engagement and an inspiring and inclusive workplace, we are pleased to announce that Ilonka will become a member of the Group Executive Team (GET) on January 1, 2023.
Danfoss wants to offer a leading employee experience that values and respects diversity and inclusion. To unleash the full potential of our people and deliver an even more engaging employee experience, our Head of HR will become part of the GET from January 1, 2023, when Ilonka Nussbaumer becomes the seventh member of the GET.
President & CEO Kim Fausing says:
“As leaders, it’s highly important that all of us take time and dedicate our focus to people development so that we can foster a diverse and inclusive environment for our teams. We want to empower all our people to thrive in a purpose-driven career. People are the foundation of our strategy and key to our success and people are always on the agenda at all the GET meetings. This is why it is the right time for us now to have HR represented in the GET team.”
Ilonka Nussbaumer has been with Danfoss since February 1, 2019. Prior to this, Ilonka had global HR responsibility at the multinational, family-owned company Voith where she acted as Senior Vice President from March 2011. She moved there after almost ten years at the Schaeffler Group, where she had held various management roles in the Human Resources area, most recently as Vice President HR for the Automotive Division.
