Monday, April 4, 2022

Astrid Mozes, currently President of the Hydrostatics Division in Danfoss Power Solutions, succeeds Lars Tveen who has accepted the role of CEO of the Bitten & Mads Clausen’s Foundation.

Prior to the annual meeting of the Bitten and Mads Clausen Foundation on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, the Foundation announced that Per Egebæk Have will be nominated as the new Chairman. Per Egebæk Have’s successor as CEO of the Bitten & Mads Clausen’s Foundation will be Lars Tveen, who has been a member of Danfoss Group Executive Team (GET) since 2015 serving as President, Danfoss Regions.

Lars Tveen will be succeeded by Astrid Mozes, who became head of the Hydrostatics Division in Danfoss Power Solutions after Danfoss’ acquisition of Eaton’s hydraulics business in August 2021.

CEO and President of Danfoss Kim Fausing says:

“It is a great pleasure to welcome Astrid Mozes to GET. She has extensive leadership experience from Eaton and has been an invaluable asset to Danfoss Power Solutions for the past eight months. With her multicultural background, she will be a huge asset for GET and Danfoss’ regions, and I am therefore very happy that Astrid accepted this role. It is, of course, with some sadness we say goodbye to Lars Tveen who has been a part of Danfoss throughout his career, but I am glad we will continue to work with Lars in his new role at Bitten & Mads Clausen’s Foundation. He is a great example of how far a skilled Post-Graduate Program talent can go in Danfoss.”

Astrid has a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and brings deep technical experience to the role. She started her career in Sales and Marketing for Eaton in Scandinavia before moving to the US in 1995 where she held several leadership positions. From 2011-2014, she worked out of Lausanne, Switzerland as President of the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) regions before becoming Chief Technology Officer. In 2016, she was appointed Senior Vice President, leading Eaton’s hydraulics component portfolio in the Power Motion Controls division globally. Astrid is married and has two adult children and will operate out of her current location in the US.

Astrid Mozes takes over her new role on April 6, 2022, when Lars Tveen officially becomes CEO of the Bitten & Mads Clausen Foundation.
