Danfoss spotlights energy efficiency and cost savings at IFAT 2024

Date: 13 - 17 May, 2024

Danfoss is pleased to be a part of this year’s IFAT Munich, the world’s leading trade fair for water, sewage, waste and raw materials management. Ensuring fresh, clean water for the world’s inhabitants is one of the greatest challenges of our time. IFAT 2024 brings together municipalities, manufacturers and policymakers from across Europe to discuss innovative solutions to society’s water issues. This year’s conference will also look at the latest trends in digitalization, climate resilience and wastewater treatment.

At booth B1-427 Danfoss experts will present our wide range of innovative, energy-efficient solutions for desalination, water distribution, wastewater and industrial water recycling and reuse treatment. Our comprehensive product portfolio features technologies that reduce energy consumption and leakage during all stages of the water cycle – from production and distribution to wastewater pumping.

We look forward to seeing you at IFAT booth B1-427!

IFAT, Munich, Monday, May 13th to Friday, May 17th, 2024

Danfoss High Pressure Pumps

“Our target is to develop, manufacture and market innovative high-pressure pumps for the water market. We’re constantly collaborating with our customers to improve our products and meet the needs of the market.”

Jesper Bentzen, , Sales Director HPP

Danfoss offers a wide range of APP high-pressure pumps & energy recovery devices (ERDs), which can be used in many water applications. Our pumps and ERDs lead their class in terms of efficiency, providing reliable, low-maintenance performance. IFAT attendees will be able to:

  • Explore our range of APP pumps which are used in more than 22,000 SWRO plants around the world to obtain maximum efficiency, reliability and system flexibility.
  • Learn more about the Danfoss iSave and MPE 70 ERD, scalable for use in SWRO applications of any size and type.
  • Check out the new Danfoss APP pump with ceramics for both SWRO & ZLD/MLD wastewater treatment. The new pump is built for outlet pressures of up to 124 bar and significantly reduces the filtration requirement and energy consumption of membrane processes.
  • Experience our newest ERD, Gen-Save™, an innovative concept that seamlessly converts hydraulic energy into electricity and optimizes system performance to improve efficiency in brine mining, industrial waste recycle & reuse treatment and other membrane systems.

“As the first to produce dedicated drives for the water and wastewater industry, Danfoss is a frontrunner in developing specific drives for the water segment. This makes our products one of the most popular choices for drive solutions in the global water industry.”

Klaus Manns, , Sales Manager Water Projects Danfoss Drives

Danfoss Drives are central to water infrastructure transformation. Water treatment plants are often responsible for 25-40% of a municipality's energy bill, but by implementing advanced process control, plants can reduce this figure to zero.  At this year’s IFAT, Danfoss booth visitors will see how our VLT® AQUA Drive FC 202 makes this possible.

Danfoss Drives include our patented EDGE technology and cloud-free artifical intelligence that give plant operators perfect control over their system, ensuring increased uptime and operational cost savings. Plant operators get an on-site solution that increases performance and reduces their carbon footprint with real-time system alerts and fault detection.
