The potential of the water-energy nexus
Thursday, November 20, 2025 | 9:00 AM Central European Time
In this session, we will present key findings from the latest Danfoss Impact white paper, which examines the water-energy nexus — a critical challenge as global water demand is set to outpace supply by 40% by 2030 while water systems already consume massive amounts of energy.
Discover how Danfoss drives play a vital role across the full water cycle — production, distribution, consumption, reuse, and treatment — cutting energy use, reducing waste, and optimizing performance to make every drop and every watt count.
Be part of the conversation on building smarter, more sustainable water and energy systems worldwide.
Danfoss Impact No. 7
The 7th issue of Danfoss Impact focused on unlocking the potential of the water-energy nexus draws on empirical evidence and credible data to highlight why water and energy must be seen as deeply interconnected. The white paper reveals the untapped potential of existing technologies to save energy, water, and emissions across the water sector, showing that, despite their proven benefits and quick payback, these solutions remain underused.
