A safe and convenient solution
Part of Danfoss' ICV Flexline™ series, ICLX valves are two-step servo-operated main valves with pilot solenoid valves. ICLX valves can be used in suction lines for opening against high differential pressure, such as after hot gas defrosting in large industrial refrigeration systems using HCFC, HFC, R717 (ammonia) or R744 (CO2).
ICLX valves offer safe, flexible, and convenient installation, operation, and service. For example, the standard ICV Flexline™ housing makes the ICLX valve, a true plug-and-play solution with easy and time-saving switching between functions.
The ICLX valve is factory-configured to open in two steps, though it can easily be configured to open in only one step. In the two-step configuration, step one opens to approximately 10% of the capacity after the pilot solenoid valves are energized. Step two opens automatically when the pressure differential across the valve has decreased to approximately 18 psig (1.25 bar).
The ICLX valve is comprised of five main components: valve body, top cover, function module, and two pilot solenoid valves. On ICLX 32–150 models, the top cover and function module are factory-assembled.
