Learn all about our newest electrohydraulic product line with our complete e-learning offering. The courses cover different areas as ordering, PVED-CLS steering and safety controller, product highlights and commissioning.

This tool will guide you through parameter setup of your application used with the PVED-CLS Steering and safety controller, in combination with electrohydraulic steering valves: OSPE, EHi and EHPS.

Save engineering time with fast access to dedicated application information. The application guides will provide easy-to-use manuals for quick configuration of the PVED-CLS steering and safety controller.

Several function blocks for PVED-CLS steering and safety actuator, are available from PLUS+1® update center. E.g., encode messages as vehicle speed sensor, steering wheel sensor, auto-guidance and MMI, and decoding status message from operational status, steering feedback, auto-guidance and machine status.
With a comprehensive range of hydraulic and electrohydraulic steering components and systems, Danfoss provides dedicated solutions applicable for all types of applications.

All-wheel steering is one example of how Danfoss is at the forefront of machine versatility. This helps customers getting the most out of their equipment. Electrohydraulic steering system enables operators to manually adjust the steering mode, allowing them to best match machine performance to the task at hand.

To remain competitive in today’s agricultural equipment market, OEMs are offering satellite-based, automatic steering solutions.

Danfoss continues to lead the way with advanced, electrohydraulic joystick steering solutions. These offer design flexibility for you, superior machine controllability and performance for your customers.
Q1. Compared to conventional steering, electrohydraulic steering can be more expensive. Why should we invest in such solutions?
Investment is the right definition for electrohydraulic solutions. Electrohydraulic steering allows you to step into the digital innovation: increased machine productivity (auto guidance, multi-axis steering), reduced TCO (less machine downtime, simplified hydraulic system, less wear) and increased operator comfort (reduced operator fatigue and cabin noise with improved handling and cabin visibility). At Danfoss we have over 50 years of steering solutions experience. We engineer the steering of tomorrow today, with the highest safety and quality standards.

Q2. There seems to be a lot of talk about safety on Steer-by-Wire solutions. Is the off-highway market ready for it?
At Danfoss we take safety very seriously. Danfoss electrohydraulic steering components are compliant with the most recent safety standards and regulations. If you want to learn more about our Steer-by-Wire solutions click here.
Q3. Four-wheel steering is achievable with traditional steering solutions. What makes the electrohydraulic solution different?
In the traditional four-wheel steering (4WS) mode both axles on the machine move at the same steering angle as opposed to the electrohydraulic solution. In fact, Danfoss electrohydraulic all-wheel system allows dynamic 4WS mode with independent and adjustable rear axle. Take a look at the video.
Q4. I don’t have enough internal resources to develop electrohydraulic solutions for my customers.
We developed electrohydraulic steering sub-systems solutions to help reduce your time to market. Visit our steering solutions pages here or contact your local Danfoss partner to learn more.
