Brakes – stand alone

These stand-alone spring applied, hydraulic release brakes provide safe stopping capabilities to many critical machine functions. With safety an extremely important factor in the design and manufacturing of hydraulic equipment, these brakes provide 225 – 1500 Nm [2,000 – 13,300 lb-in] of reliable holding torque options.

We offer BK series brakes based on technology proven in the Danfoss integral motor/brakes. These spring applied, hydraulic release brakes provide up to 1500 Nm (13,300 lb-in) of holding torque for static brake applications.

BK 913 and 915 Series

We offer the AB brake as a compact alternative for lighter machines. The AB brake is a multi-wet-disc brake that provides 475 Nm (4200 lb-in) of static holding torque. Internal components are immersed if fluid and are environmentally sealed to prevent contamination and corrosion while maintaining rated holding capacity.

AB 920 Series

We offer the FB brake as a multi-wet-disc brake that provides superior performance. With three holding torque options up to 650 Nm, the FB brake offers flexibility for a variety of machine applications. Internal components are immersed if fluid and are environmentally sealed to prevent contamination and corrosion while maintaining rated holding capacity.

FB 925 Series

We offer the SB brake as a multi-wet-disc brake with SAE A flange that can be used as a stand-alone brake or can be assembled with an SAE A flange motor input. With five holding torque options up to 620 Nm (5500 lb-in), the FB brake offers flexibility for a variety of machine applications. Internal components are immersed if fluid and are environmentally sealed to prevent contamination and corrosion while maintaining rated holding capacity.

 SB 930 Series

We offer the RP brake release pump as a solution for auxiliary brake release in the event of loss of hydraulic power. It can be used in conjunction with a wide variety of spring applied, hydraulic release brakes. Depending on the brake and required brake release pressure, 1-5 strokes of the pump rod will release the brake. This enables the machine to be moved to a service area.
