The VLT® MCD 500 has reached the Limited phase of its lifecycle and is no longer in active production. Danfoss offers an extensive portfolio for soft starting and stopping of three-phase asynchronous motors and will help you select the optimal replacement drive for your application.
Limited: A drive entering the Limited phase has limited service options. A limited amount of spare parts, maintenance and repair services are available as long as materials can be obtained. No new service contracts can be offered. Only existing service contracts with our customers will be supported.
The MCD 600 is more flexible than ever to install, thanks to a wide variety of Ethernet and serial-based communication option cards, application-dedicated smart cards and support for eight languages.
An integrated bypass ensures both extremely high efficiency and harmonic-free operation at full speed, reducing energy consumed and required cooling capacity. Ease of use is in focus with features such as the pump-clean function, PowerThrough operation, and calendar or run time-based scheduling. More extensive motor and starter protections ensure more uptime.
