Danfoss HEXSelector software now includes microchannel heat exchangers (MCHE), making it possible for contractors and building owners to easily choose the perfect match for their HVAC system. With microchannel heat exchangers growing in popularity for their lightweight design and reduced refrigerant charge, contractors faced the challenge of choosing the product correctly sized for their system. This upgrade to the HEXSelector software enables them to streamline the process.
This all-in-one solution enables users to quickly identify the optimal MCHE, resulting in reduced project timelines, lower operational costs and increased energy efficiency. Data and product offerings are continuously updated. Users can customize units of measurement to match their preferences or industry standards and can set default values for various parameters, saving them time and ensuring consistency in their calculations.
MCHE customers will now be able to take advantage of the following features:
“Selecting the right MCHE is critical to optimizing HVAC systems and realizing the full benefits of increased energy efficiency,” said Jeff Tucker, head of microchannel heat exchangers at Danfoss Climate Solutions. “The addition of MCHE to our HEXSelector software brings the customer experience to a new level, saving them time and ensuring they achieve maximum performance and savings from their heating and cooling systems.”
