DSE FLEX is a compact substation platform designed for indirect district heating with up to 3 circuits with possibility to make combinations between modules if more circuits are required.

Maximum capacity is determined by temperature, allowable pressure drops and local regulations. HE 560 kW, DHW 590 kW. It is an exclusive solution designed to optimally fulfill specific requests and stringent requirements for district heating. Only available on request.

Is the DSE FLEX controller pre-configured from the factory?

Yes, it is preset according to available data. After commissioning, it performs a self-test, displays a default system code, and enters operating mode. Fine-tuning should follow the controller manufacturer’s manual attached to the station.

What should I check before commissioning?

Ensure all hydraulic and electrical connections are correct, water quality meets Danfoss guidelines, and the controller manual is available for precise settings.

What water quality is required for optimal performance?

Follow the Danfoss Guideline to Water Quality for Copper Brazed Plate Heat Exchanger (VJ.KV.D3.02 or newer) to maximize heat exchanger performance and lifetime.

What causes excessive noise in the system?

Incorrect pump setting
Missing hydraulic setup
Flow noise in pipes or foreign objects in piping
Loose parts in components (e.g., non-return valve springs)
Incorrect system dimensioning (e.g., undersized control valve)

How can I fix excessive noise?
