New fieldbus? No need for hardware
You can now change the application or fieldbus on your drive without changing the hardware. This gives you the ultimate in drive flexibility.
For easy customization, just add the license token to the drive in the field. For example, if you initially purchased a drive equipped with Modbus TCP, later you can order the PROFINET RT license (136S1002), add it to the existing drive, and utilize it as a PROFINET drive. This versatility ensures adaptability based on operational needs.
