Valves

NRV and NRVH can be used in liquid, suction and hot gas lines in refrigeration and air conditioning plants with fluorinated refrigerants. NRV and NRVH can be supplied with flare and solder connections. They are also available with oversize solder connections providing flexibility in the use of check valves.

SCA-X are check and stop valves with built-in stop valve function. SCA-X valves are available in angleway versions.

SCA-X SS are check and stop valves in stainless steel with a built-in stop valve function. SCA-X SS are available in angleway versions. The valves are designed to open at very low differential pressures, allow favourable flow conditions and are easy to disassemble for inspection and service. SCA-X are equipped with vented cap and have internal backseating enabling the spindle seal to be replaced whilst the valve still under pressure.

The new ICLX valves are part of the Danfoss ICV Flexline™ series. The ICLX valves are 2-step servo-operated main valves with pilot solenoid valves.

Hot gas defrost is a very common and efficient method used within industrial refrigeration. Sound design practices and specific design features should always be considered carefully to prevent safety risks, which may be caused by even a slight change in operating conditions.

CTR 3-way heat reclaim valve is designed to allow full proportional control of the surplus heat from compressor pack into the heat exchanger of transcritical heat reclaim solutions, securing availability of heat and hot water. The CTR valve prevents pressure peaks eliminating costly system down-time and the risk of insufficient heat supply for store heating and hot water, regardless of installation size.

The CCMT is an electric operated valve designed specifically for operation in CO₂ systems. The valve is capable of functioning either as an expansion valve, as a pressure regulator for the gas cooler or as a gas bypass valve with back-pressure regulation in trans-critical or subcritical applications.

ETS is a series of electric expansion valves for precise liquid injection in evaporators for air conditioning and refrigeration applications. The valve piston and linear positioning design is fully balanced, providing bi-flow feature as well as solenoid tight shut-off function in both flow directions. ETS valves are compatible with electronic control solutions from Danfoss and other manufacturers.

AKV are electrically operated expansion valves designed for refrigerating plants. The AKV valves are normally controlled by a controller from Danfoss’ range of ADAP-KOOL® controllers.

KVS is a series of electric suction modulating valves for AC transport and refrigeration applications. Accurate temperature or pressure control is obtained by modulating the refrigerant flow in the evaporator with a current or voltage driver.

Solenoid Valves for refrigeration applications, standard types for fluorinated refrigerants and ammonia (R717) as well as solenoid valves for water and brine. The category also contains solenoid valves in stainless steel, gas powered valves and pulse solenoid valves.

Danfoss Saginomiya 4-way Reversing Valves are used in reversible applications such as heat pumps or reversible air conditioning units and chillers.

Solenoid valve bodies and electrical coils are normally supplied separately and then combined. They are assembled quickly and simply without tools, providing optimum product flexibility and availability. The solenoid valves are also available as assembled units if required.

The EVRA(T) solenoid valves are designed for ammonia and fluorinated refrigerants, offering reliable control for cooling systems. 

Thermostatic expansion valves (TXV) are available as parts programs, i.e. with separate valve body and orifice assemblies, or as complete valves (fixed orifice). The category also contains thermostatic injection valves.

Thermostatic valves are a simple and reliable control solution requiring neither electricity nor control air. An example of application is automatic control of water temperature in cooling systems.The valves are available with remote or built-in sensor.

GBC ball valves are manually operated shut-off valves suitable for applications where bi-directional flow is a requirement.  GBC valves are approved for applications in liquid, suction, and hot gas lines in refrigeration and air conditioning systems.

BML is a manual shut-off valve designed for installation in the liquid, suction and hot gas lines of refrigeration plants.
