EDS international conference on desalination for the environment, clean water and energy

Friday, 10 August, 2018

The event takes place 3-6 September in Athens, Greece. Danfoss will be present on booth no. 10 from 4 to 6 September.

In recent years, the number of desalination plants has increased dramatically along the coastlines of many continents. And the number of new plants is likely to continue to grow in the coming years as a natural response to the increasing water scarcity facing the world today.

The global water challenges call for innovative solutions and Danfoss supplies expertise and unique technologies that can make SWRO solutions even more efficient without compromising the environment.

At EDS International Conference on Desalination for the Environment, Clean Water and Energy, Danfoss exhibits the highly efficient APP high-pressure pump and iSave energy recovery device – both suitable for small to large SWRO applications.

"Our target is to develop, manufacture and market innovative pumps and energy recovery devices for the demanding reverse osmosis (RO) market. We constantly work with our customers to improve our products and to meet the needs in the market", says Jesper Bentzen, Sales Director.

High-pressure pumps and ERDs for various SWRO applications

High-pressure pumps and energy recovery devices are used in many different SWRO applications. The product portfolio from Danfoss offers a wide range of pumps and ERDs suitable for small containerized units up to larger trains of parallel-coupled pumps and ERDs.

"At the EDS, we will also introduce our new APP W HC pump, which has been developed for the ZLD and MLD wastewater market. The APP W HC pump is not only the most efficient pump in the market, it is also a reliable and low-maintenance performer", Jesper Bentzen ends.

The APP pumps from Danfoss are among the most energy efficient in the market. The simple construction of the pump allows highly reliable operation with long service intervals and easy maintenance. The iSave ERDs from Danfoss do also have competitive efficiency rates and a service-friendly design. They are compact as well as they are easy to install and operate.

Both pumps and ERDs are highly reliable and energy-efficient. They are made of Duplex and Super-Duplex material, making them the perfect choice for high salinity SWRO applications.

You will find us at booth 10, Divani Caravel Hotel, Athens in Greece
