AKS 3000 is a series of absolute transmitters with high-level signal conditioned current output, developed to meet demands in A/C and refrigeration. AKS 3000 utilizes the proven piezo resistive measuring principle, which has been used for decades in Danfoss pressure transmitters.
The pressure reference is a sealed gauge. This means that atmosperic pressure variations have no influence on regulating accuracy. A must in accurate low pressure regulation. All materials in contact with the refrigerant and materials for the housing are AISI 316L stainless steel. No soft gaskets, all environmental sealings are made through laser weldings only AKS 3000 has 4 to 20 mA output, and is available with spade terminals for EN 175301-803 plug.
The robust design and the 4 to 20 mA output signal makes the transmitter suitable for systems together with ratiometric A/D converters within a number of segments/applications:
- Air Conditioning
- Commercial Refrigeration
- Food Retail
- Industrial Refrigeration
Features and benefits
Measuring ranges up to 60 bar
4 to 20 mA output signal
Tough environment (vibration, shock during operation/transport, humidity & ice formation, temperature variations, corrosive media (NH3 & salt mist))

AKS 3000 pressure transmitters is well-suited for the following applications
Your refrigeration system is the natural place to look for energy efficiency gains. To unlock that potential, you need a controller, expansion valve, and high accuracy sensors that are smart enough to make the technology work together—and a system manager that can help you see and control the bigger picture.
Energy consumption is a key driver for building owners when it comes to chillers. Depending on the building size, type, and use, as well as the surrounding climate, you need different options for your chiller designs to provide the most value to your customers and differentiate yourselves in the market.
