Danfoss Drives maintains a very close relationship with all members of its’ nationwide distribution network, and is extremely pleased to welcome a new and highly experienced member of staff who has recently joined the team at Digicon Solutions Ltd.
Digicon’s new recruit, Steve Takhar, will be instrumental in assisting the Company to promote the sale of Danfoss VLT® and VACON® variable speed drives, while ensuring Digicon continue to provide the very high level of customer service that is consistently delivered by our partner network.
Steve has been working in the variable speed drives (motion control) industry for over 40 years, and thanks to his applications expertise, he is highly experienced in providing customers with solutions that will increase productivity and reliability, whilst saving costs and energy.
In his new role, as a Drives Specialist, Steve will be providing front line technical support and advice, and also demonstrating how the Danfoss Drives VLT and VACON product ranges can benefit potential new customers.
When he is not hard at work, Steve enjoys ‘trying’ to play better golf, not always successfully. Keeping fit both physically at the local gym and swimming, and also mentality which is important. An ever-growing family of grandkids keep me busy and also up to speed with the latest IT gadgets. For my wife’s non-pleasure, I enjoy all sports either participating or watching. For my sins I support Tottenham Hotspur (someone has to).
