A linha VACON® NXP de produtos de drive de barramentos CC inclui vários front-ends ativos, inversores e unidades de circuito de frenagem. Eles garantem que toda a energia dentro de um sistema seja efetivamente utilizada e redistribuída.
Os componentes de barramento CC comuns podem ser usados em muitas combinações diferentes. No sistema de barramento CC regenerativo, a unidade de front-end ativa gera energia de volta à rede elétrica. Isto é adequado para processos em que a frenagem é necessária com frequência e a potência de frenagem é relativamente alta. Em um sistema não regenerativo, a potência de frenagem é redistribuída para outros drives no sistema e o possível excesso de energia pode ser dissipado como calor usando um circuito de frenagem e resistores de frenagem opcionais. Isso é ideal para pequenas linhas de produção onde a frenagem é necessária com menos frequência.
