VLT® HVAC Drives improve hospital environment & reduce energy consumption by more than 50%

Energy prices are high and are expected to rise dramatically in future.  This fact coupled with the current economic climate makes saving energy more important than ever.

VLT® drives, available in the power range from 0.18 kW to 1.4 MW, have an energy efficiency of at least 98%; making it possible for you to reduce your energy costs to a minimum.

VLT HVAC drives installed in the Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals Trust have significantly improved the internal environment in the areas served.  As a result their energy consumption has been reduced by more than 50%. This has been quantified as saving £48,000; 288 tonnes of CO2 emissions and 533,000 kWh of electricity per annum.
