AQUA Drive FC 200 Series & Bypass Panels - Installation, Startup, and Application Specific Training
Course Location – Stoney Creek, ON
Course Length – 2.5 Days (8:30 A.M - 4 P.M. including a 1 hour lunch break and Thursday 1/2 Day (8:30 A.M - 12 P.M. no lunch)
Prerequisite - None
This course begins with a basic introduction to variable frequency drives and their operation. Following the introduction, the course will guide the student through the procedures and guidelines involved with installing a VLT® AQUA Drive FC-202 series product. The next section of the class deals with programming the drive for a basic startup, including parameter settings and wiring of the I/O terminals. A basic introduction to the Danfoss MCT-10 setup software is also included.* Guided lab exercises provide the students with hands-on experience programming the VLT® AQUA Drive for common applications. . During lab, each student will gain hands-on experience setting up and programming the advanced features of the VLT® AQUA Drive. The instructor will be available to assist the students with these applications and certain ones can be simulated in the lab. The course also includes a basic troubleshooting presentation that provides students with valuable problem solving techniques. Students will receive a USB flash drive loaded with relevant documentation on the product and course material. Lunches will be provided by Danfoss.

AutomationDrive FC 300 Series - Installation, Startup, and Application Specific Programming
Course Location – Stoney Creek, ON
Course Length - 2.5 Days (8:30 A.M - 4 P.M. including a 1 hour lunch break and Thursday 1/2 Day (8:30 A.M - 12 P.M. no lunch)
Prerequisite – None
This course begins with a basic introduction to variable frequency drives and their operation. Following the introduction, the course will guide the student through the procedures and guidelines involved with installing a VLT® AutomationDrive FC-302 / 322 series product. The next section of the class deals with programming the drive for a basic startup, including parameter settings and wiring of the I/O terminals. A basic introduction to the Danfoss MCT-10 setup software is also included.* Guided lab exercises provide the students with hands-on experience programming the VLT® AutomationDrive for common applications. . During lab, each student will gain hands-on experience setting up and programming the advanced features of the the VLT® AutomationDrive. The instructor will be available to assist the students with these applications and certain ones can be simulated in the lab. Vacon 20 & 100 Series - Installation, Startup, and Programming with Basic Troubleshooting
Course Location – Stoney Creek, ON
Course Length - 2 Days (8:30 A.M - 4 P.M. including a 1 hour lunch break)
Prerequisite - None
This course begins with a basic introduction to variable frequency drives and their operation. Following the introduction, the course will guide the student through the procedures and guidelines involved with installing a Vacon 20 and 100 series products. The next section of the class deals with programming the drive for basic startup, including parameter settings and wiring of the I/O terminals. An introduction to the Vacon Live setup software is also included*. Lab exercises provide the student with hands-on experience programming the Vacon 20 and 100 series products for common applications. The course also includes a basic troubleshooting presentation that provides students with valuable problem solving techniques. Students will receive a USB flash drive loaded with relevant documentation on the product and course material. Lunches will be provided by Danfoss.

Field Training - Special Request Application
FIELD training represents onsite sessions conducted within the continental 48 states of the USA. Tuition applies to standard business days (Monday–Friday). The tuition fees include trainer travel expenses; all class materials and shipment of required training equipment. Customer is responsible for lunch / break food & drink during session. Additional fees apply for weekend/holiday training or the rental of an appropriate facility to conduct the session if not available at the customer’s location.

Factory Training - Special Request Application
FACTORY training represents sessions conducted at the Danfoss Training facility in Stoney Creek, ON. Tuition fee applies to standard business days (Monday–Friday) and includes class materials and lunch / break food & drink during session. Additional fees apply for weekend/holiday training.
Student is responsible for all travel costs to / from the Stoney Creek, ON facility.
Service Training Classes

Commissioning and Repair Technical Training - FC100/200/300 Series
Course Location – Stoney Creek, ON
Course Length – 3 Days (8:30 A.M - 4 P.M. including a 1 hour lunch break)
Prerequisite - Basic VFD and electrical knowledge
This first day of this class includes abbreviated Danfoss drive startup. This majority of the class focuses on both hardware and software troubleshooting. Students will deal with various programming issues that may surface when commissioning and troubleshooting a drive system. Guided lab exercises and drive demo units containing various programming errors are handed to the students. They are asked to figure out each problem before moving on to the next one. The Danfoss MCT-10 setup software is thoroughly reviewed and explored as a programming and troubleshooting tool. Detailed VFD theory of operation is presented to the class. The most common alarm codes and fault symptoms are covered in lecture. Time is spent in the lab where the students will exercise different test procedures and are allowed to disassemble drives of all sizes. Parts can be removed to simulate repair situations. This may include but is not limited to including servicing rectifier sections, IGBT's, cap banks, fans, power, and control cards. Students will receive a USB flash drive loaded with relevant documentation on the product and course material. Lunches will be provided by Danfoss.

Service Partner Certification Technical Training - FC100/200/300 Series
Course Location – Stoney Creek, ON
Course Length – 4.5 Days (8:30 A.M - 4 P.M. including a 1 hour lunch break and Friday 1/2 Day (8:30 A.M - 12 P.M. lunch provided to those that stay but not mandatory)
Prerequisite – Each student must have already passed the participant prequalification test
This first day of this class includes abbreviated Danfoss drive installation and startup. This majority of the class focuses on both hardware and software troubleshooting. Service Partner Certification Technical Training - VACON 100 (up to MR9), NXS & NXP (up to FR10)
Course Location – Stoney Creek, ON
Course duration: 4.5 days (ends Friday at noon )
Products: VACON NXS/P series (up to FR10) and VACON 100 series (up to MR9)
The course aims to give needed knowledge to perform drives repair and analysis independently and also to take other needed service actions. After the course you are able to:
- Have product knowledge on VACON products
- Identify faults, understand why faults appear and analyze drives.
- Check measurements according to instructions, organize further service actions and carry out the service.
- Start up a drive on a customer site (Standard applications).
- Know how to load & program AC Drive for a customers application (downloadable applications)
