Energy efficient, sustainable and smart refrigeration compressors for a variety of applications
Danfoss is committed to providing energy efficient, sustainable and smart refrigeration compressors for a varied range of commercial applications such as cold rooms, display cabinets, ice making machines, glass door merchandisers, process cooling etc. They reduce operating costs, and their compact, lightweight design makes them ideal for small spaces. They feature variable-speed/inverter options for increased efficiency, and more accurate temperature and humidity control. Qualified for low and natural refrigerants.
Danfoss ranges of fixed-speed and variable-speed scroll and reciprocating compressors are designed for commercial and light commercial refrigeration applications.
The MTZ/NTZ 1-cylinder reciprocating ranges and the MLZ/LLZ scroll ones are now coming in a multi-refrigerant version, offering both A1 and A2L refrigerants in a single compressor.
Our ranges are qualified to work with low and ultra-low GWP refrigerants such as:
- A1-class refrigerants: R448A, R449A, R513A, R452A—and traditional HFCs such as R134a, R404A/R507, R407A/C/F, R22
- A2L-class refrigerants: R454C, R455A, R1234yf—this last refrigerant only for our light commercial/fractional ranges
- Natural refrigerants: R290, R600a—for our light commercial / fractional ranges
Light Commercial compressors
With a wide range of over 500 models from 40 W to 4.7 kW, Danfoss Light Commercial Compressors bring leading efficiency to any application. Characterized by low energy consumption for optimized running costs, they are compact, and provide good acoustic performance to ensure end user and neighborhood convenience. They offer a wide range of cooling capacities—particularly at low and very low evaporating temperatures down to -45°C/49°F. Qualified for R290 and R600a, they’re also the perfect choice for a green solution.
Specializing in Direct Current (DC) applications such as mobile, solar and telecom cooling, DC compressors are perfect for cooling needs from 7 to 800 W - 1/4HP with a single compressor, 1.6 kW with twin compressors.
