Extended range of Danfoss condensing units and support tools presented at Chillventa

Monday, December 15, 2014

With the extended range, Danfoss offers a wide array of options of easy to install and energy efficient condensing units. One of the corner stones of this range is the Optyma Plus™ New Generation. Along with its acoustic insulation and long-life scroll compressor, this condensing unit offers significant savings in terms of time and costs in installation as well as energy savings. The highly optimized Micro Channel Heat Exchanger and electronic controller also contribute to considerable energy savings

Another solution showcased at Chillventa is the Optyma™ Slim Pack, which combines lightweight size with heavyweight performance. Reliability, compactness and low cost make the Danfoss Optyma™ Slim Pack condensing unit an optimal cooling solution for cost effective refrigeration.

Optyma Plus™ New Generation and Optyma™ Slim Pack ranges will evolve to fit the Ecodesign requirements related to the fan motor and for use with new alternative refrigerants for applications in medium temperatures. Both ranges have also recently been extended with new models for LBP and smaller MBP applications.

The new Optyma Plus™ Inverter packaged condensing unit will be presented for the first time at Chillventa 2014. It combines the plug and play design of the Optyma Plus™ New Generation with the latest VZH inverter compressor and drive package. Dedicated to cold rooms, display cabinets and refrigeration applications where continuous adaptation to load changes and cooling demand are at a premium, the Optyma Plus™ Inverter delivers high cooling capacity and stepless capacity modulation. The product release is planned for 2015, but visitors to the Danfoss booth at Chillventa can get a sneak preview of this innovation in condensing unit technology.

The upgraded Optyma™ Control with RS 485 Modbus communication option offers remote and accurate control of cold rooms – all in a single unit. Available for both single-phase and three-phase refrigeration systems, the Optyma™ Control can be used as a stand-alone unit, or can be integrated in a complete system with Danfoss ADAP-KOOL® controls.

Danfoss has developed a variety of support tools ranging from an online training platform to selection software and apps. Several of these tools have recently undergone significant updates and all visitors at the Danfoss booth at Chillventa are invited to take a closer look at how these tools can support busy refrigeration professionals.

For Danfoss, Chillventa 2014 will also be the world premiere of a new visual identity, and the visitors can look forward to a brand new booth design. You will find Danfoss in Hall 4, booth 102 at Chillventa 2014 in Nuremberg, Germany, from the 14th to the 16th of October.
