Danfoss presents total store energy management solutions at chillventa 14

Monday, September 15, 2014

At this year's Chillventa exhibition in Nuremberg, Danfoss places its emphasis on solutions to bring down energy consumption in cooling and refrigeration. With new products for total store energy management, Danfoss will once again show market leadership in food retail refrigeration.

At Chillventa, Danfoss presents a number of innovative products all designed to increase the energy efficiency of refrigeration solutions for supermarkets and other small- to-medium sized stores.

With the objective of creating healthy and sustainable stores, Danfoss has developed a new ADAP-KOOL® system manager (AK-SM 800-series and enterprise manager AK-EM 800) in collaboration with the top experts of the industry. This Danfoss system provides excellent control and system management to ensure food safety and to save energy for store owners around the world. In addition, Danfoss is introducing the AK-LM 350 COP: A new solution for real-time Coefficient of Performance (COP) that provides performance measurement of refrigeration plants. The monitoring unit is equipped with data communication and is operated via a PC. Both solutions will be demonstrated to the visitors at the Danfoss booth.

Customers need electronic solutions even in small stores, and at Chillventa, Danfoss shows how it can be achieved. The new HFC controllers, AK-PC 351 and AK-PC 551, are designed to be easy to set up with optimized control algorithms, factory defaults and fast commissioning. Both controllers can be used within a large scale of commercial refrigeration applications for HFC. Set-up takes less than five minutes using the intuitive graphical interface.

The VLT® Refrigeration Drive FC 103 is a must for refrigeration applications, thanks to its refrigeration compressor, pump and fan control functions. It lowers their life cycle costs significantly by using infinitely variable speed control and an intelligent cooling system that adapts to actual system demand.

Chillventa presents an opportunity for professionals to have a dialogue with Danfoss about CO2 in food retail applications. With the experience of more than 5,000 transcritical CO2 solutions combined with a wide product portfolio of high quality components for CO2 systems, Danfoss is committed to continuously providing greener technology to the refrigeration industry.

For Danfoss, Chillventa 2014 will also be the world premiere of a new visual identity, and the visitors can look forward to a brand new booth design. You will find Danfoss in Hall 4, booth 102 at Chillventa 2014 in Nuremberg, Germany, from the 14th to the 16th of October.
