The Filter drier is a vital element of the system’s reliability as well as its lifespan. Danfoss’ range of Filter driers covers both hermetic and exchangeable core types. The core makes the Filter drier absorb water and acids more effectively to prevent corrosion of the compressor’s metal surfaces and ensure that oil and refrigerant do not decompose.

DMLE / DCLE hermetic high pressure filter driers, HFC optimized

DMLE and DCLE hermetic filter driers are optimized for HFC refrigerants and mineral or benzene oils. Compatible with A2L refrigerants R32, R444B, R452B, R454B, R1234yf, and with A1, A2, and A3 refrigerants at a maximum working pressure (MWP) of 50 bar (725 psi).

DMT hermetic filter driers for CO₂

DMT Hermetic Filter Drier is specially designed for transcritical CO₂ applications that support up to 140 bars. The filter driers are delivered with flare or copper plated steel connections.

DMB/DCB hermetic bi-flow filters driers, HFC optimized

Hermetic bi-flow filter driers, type DMB, are for use in liquid lines on heat pumps. The hermetic bi-flow filter driers have built-in check valves which ensure that refrigerant liquid always flows through the filter drier from the outer side of the filter core towards the center. Thus all dirt particles are retained irrespective of flow direction.

DCR filter driers

DCR ELIMINATOR® filter driers protect refrigeration, freezing and air conditioning systems from moisture, acids and solid particles. A DCR filter drier is a parts program consisting of a DCR housing, a top cover and exchangeable core inserts type 48-DM, 48-DC, 48-DA and 48-F.

DCR filter driers for CO₂

Danfoss ELIMINATOR® filter driers with replaceable solid core, type DCR, are designed for use in liquid and suction lines in CO₂ refrigeration systems. The range features a variety of core designs for high moisture absorption and acid removal to reduce the risk of compressor burnout.

Refrigeration manufacturer Haglund Industri AB wanted to achieve energy efficiency class A. Experts at the Danfoss Application Development Center (ADC) rigorously tested new component packages and reported energy savings up to 34%.

Danfoss R-290 components enable Delfield to meet customer and regulator demands
