Decentral servo drive with flexible modularity
The VLT® Integrated Servo Drive ISD® 510 combines a servo motor and servo drive in one compact unit. It offers great benefits in diverse applications, such as turntables, labeling, capping, and packaging of food and pharmaceuticals.
Motion control is integrated into the drives to run the motion sequence independently and therefore free up the central PLC.
Use ISD® 510 as part of the VLT® FlexMotion™ servo concept.
Fast and fail-safe installation
The Plug and Twist hybrid cabling concept, including supply and control voltage as well as functional safety and fieldbus wires, makes the installation fast, easy, fail-safe end cost-efficient. Since multiple decentral drive units can be powered by just one VLT® Decentral Access Module DAM 510 through simple daisy chain wiring, no distribution boxes are required, and you can reduce cabling to a minimum.
Choose your preferred protocol
Open connectivity to common real-time Ethernet systems, such as EtherCAT, POWERLINK and PROFINET, IEC 61131-3 based programming and PLCopen Motion Function Blocks makes the system even more flexible and easy to integrate into various engineering environments.
High performance in harsh environments
A completely smooth and easy-to-clean surface together with high-protection IP67 enclosures and vibration resistance class 3M7 ensures the perfect fit for all kind of rotating applications in demanding environments.
