Speed sensor
The speed sensor detects the shaft speed and the direction of rotation. The sensor is mounted to the endcover of a Danfoss motor and senses the speed from a magnet that is rotating inside the motor.
Features and benefits
Patented contact-free sensing mechanism, detecting both the speed and direction of orbital motors
Precise measurements at resolutions of 20-180 pulses/rev
3 optional output signals: pulse, and quadrature, and CAN bus
PLUS+1® Compliant with integrated microcontroller, enabling fast customization, setup, and easy system integration
Simple click-on mounting in motor end-cover, which ensures fast assembly and easy serviceability in the field
