Danfoss presents 100% CO₂ store solution at atmosphere Asia

Friday, 23 January 2015

With an added focus on global warming potential and protecting the environment, Danfoss is a leader in climate-friendly solutions and is continuously developing new components for system and energy efficient installations.

At ATMOsphere Asia in Tokyo, Japan, Danfoss presents a number of innovative products all designed to increase the energy efficiency of refrigeration solutions for supermarkets and other small- to-medium sized stores. With new products for total store energy management, Danfoss will once again show market leadership. You will be able to meet experts who can advise and guide you through the refrigerants and technologies of today and tomorrow.

Event details
3-5 February 2015
The conference will be held at the Shin-Maru Conference Square:
Shin-Maru Building 9F Marunouchi 1-5-1, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo 100-6509 Japan

Take control to save energy
Danfoss has a comprehensive portfolio for CO2 applications, also within food retail where we offer great value to e.g. hypermarkets, supermarkets and convenience stores etc. At ATMOsphere we will show just a few examples and you will find AK-CC 550A case controller and our electric expansion valve AKVH.

Integrated solutions for store management
With the objective of creating healthy and sustainable stores, Danfoss has developed a new ADAP-KOOL® system manager (AK-SM 800-series and enterprise manager AK-EM 800) in collaboration with the top experts of the industry. This Danfoss system provides the excellent control and system management to ensure food safety and to save energy for store owners around the world.

Danfoss also has a new solution for real-time Coefficient of Performance (COP) that provides performance measurement of refrigeration plants – the AK-LM 350 COP. The monitoring unit is equipped with data communication and is operated via a PC. You will also find a wide range of pack controllers in Danfoss’ portfolio, including AK-PC 781 for CO2.
You can get more information on our solutions from our experts during ATMOsphere.

Save energy at reduced costs
Danfoss is introducing the new ERC refrigeration controller for glass door merchandisers, commercial fridges and freezer, small cold rooms - just to name a few of the application possibilities. This smart multipurpose refrigeration controller with temperature and defrost management has been designed to fulfil today’s requirements of advanced commercial refrigeration applications. The range includes three different models.

Safe and reliable refrigeration system
Among the products at ATMOsphere, Danfoss will also present DMT filter driers which are specifically developed for CO2 refrigerants. Water removal in CO2 refrigeration systems is crucial for safe and reliable refrigeration system.

One code number equals one application solution
Danfoss will be presenting a member of the well-known Flexline™ platform: The ICF 20-6 valve station. This valve station is compact and light, and it offers the benefits of the innovative ICF Flexline™ valve station range: Modularity, flexibility and suitability for all future and high-pressure refrigerants. This valve stations allows customers to save time as it’s ready to install. Due to low internal volume there is a minimum refrigerant loss during service. Danfoss ICF valve station comes in different models with various housing sizes.

Strong portfolio for hydrocarbon refrigerants
Hydrocarbon based refrigeration systems are getting popular in food service and air conditioning applications. Our portfolio of expansion valves, solenoid valves, microchannel heat exchangers and filter driers have been used in building these refrigeration systems by many large OEMs for several years. Our products enable manufacturers to save energy, reduce refrigerant charge and receive global approvals for their products.

Expansion valves for GDM applications and ice maker applications can save up to 16% energy, microchannel heat exchangers can reduce refrigerant charge up to 70%, and solenoid valves for hydrocarbon refrigerant applications which are used for hot gas bypass and capacity control in food service applications are ATEX approved.

A reliable partner for CO2 refrigeration
ATMOsphere Asia presents an opportunity for professionals to have a dialogue with Danfoss about natural refrigerants and CO2. With the experience of more than 5,000 transcritical CO2 solutions combined with a wide product portfolio of high quality components for CO2 systems, Danfoss is committed to continuously providing sustainable technology to the refrigeration industry.
