Operating a variable frequency drive (VFD) using a fieldbus reduces system costs, makes communication faster and more efficient, and provides an easier user interface. Danfoss offers a range of fieldbus options for iC7 drives, both hardware and software.
RS485 Communication OC7F3
The RS485 communication option interfaces with iC7 products to provide the following protocols and features:
- Modbus RTU serial communication
- Termination resistor built-in
- 5-pin connector plug
