Harmonics Compensation
The VLT Advanced Active Filter AAF 006 is from factory optimized for the most common applications.
The unit is self tuning and can not be overloaded. If correctly sized, the filter reduces the current harmonic distortion of a system to less then 5%.
Individual application optimizations are possible through two different compensation modes and priority settings.

Enclosures
The unit meets IP21/Nema 1 protection requirements as standard. IP54/Nema12 is available on request.
Display
The unit comes as standard with a graphical Local Control Panel, supporting 28 languages.
Display option of up to 5 lines can show unit performance, grid and load conditions. LCP offers build-in help functions and fault logging in case of unit trips.
RFI filters
Two different RFI filters are available. The unit is equipped with an RFI class A2 filter as standard, but A1 filters are available also.
Optional build-in mains options
The AAF 006 can be delivered with mains disconnect, fuses and/or RFI options, -all build-in to reduce occupied wall space.
Intelligent heat management
The AAF 006 is built with back channel cooling, which transfers 85% of all heat through an IP54 segregated cooling duct.
This reduces contamination of the electronic circuit and prolongs the product life.
